ACCS functions
·It discovers and determines the targets’ location and size;
· It displays automatically on the digital map the target’s range, alignement and safety firing areas, the position of the own troops, the separation lines among units (subunits);
· It stores and manages targets;
· it ensures the mission management (defining, firing elements determination, fire monitoring,etc);
ACCS is conceived to ensure C3I support (Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence) for the fire missions of an artillery battalion by providing optimal data in the shortest time posible in modern battlefield conditions.
